How we do it?

Marble Buffing

1. First we clean the surface which needs to be polished, removing dust or grease that may have accumulated in daily traffic, and let it dry.
2. Using a floor buffer, we use a thin disc of a nap, cinnamon, or an equivalent; we can polish manually if the surface is small.
3. We apply a soil stripper or oxalic acid in small amounts while running the machine at low speed in circular movements.
4. We remove any residue from the first material, and then we apply a low portion crystallizing chemical to create a solid, hard, and shiny layer on the marble.
5. Optionally, it is polished with diamond resin discs, adding water to leave the natural shine.

Marble Grinding Procedure:

• A good grinding can restore marble that is much worn or with important irregularities.
• First of all, the possibility of removing mosaics or tiles should be evaluated, to work each piece with a grinder, although it is better to use a roughing machine with diamond blades.
• Subsequently, we choose the fine quality of the resin diamond disc to work on marble.
• The roughing is done with the machine at medium speed; some models release small amounts of water to neutralize the dust produced by the process.
• The surface is roughened, generally to no more than 3 mm, in circular movements and taking care not to burn the surface.
• Residual dust is vacuumed up, rinsed with water, and can be polished.

Buffing Granite:

• Periodic buffing should be done every year for preventive purposes. We use Abrasive agents and a buffing machine. Its main steps:
• The surface is moistened and cleaned.
• We apply the chemical moderately and pass the polishing machine at low speed with stainless steel blades.
• We vacuum and completely clean the residues from the surface.
